Not necessarily! While some roles may require specific skills, we have many opportunities for volunteers of all experience levels. We provide training and orientation for all volunteers.
We ask for a minimum commitment of 2 hours per week or 8 hours per month. Some roles may have different requirements, but we're flexible and appreciate any time you can give.
Yes! International volunteers are welcome. We can provide assistance with accommodation and orientation for longer-term volunteers.
There is no fee to volunteer with LLIAM. However, international volunteers are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, and living expenses.
Volunteers receive orientation, ongoing support from our volunteer coordinator, and opportunities for training and development.
